RankingTiger Terms of Service

Draft — have a lawyer review before publishing.
Text in square brackets marked [CONFIRM: ...] must be filled in or checked before this page goes live.

Draft prepared: October 23, 2026
Effective date: [CONFIRM: date of publication]
Published at: https://rankingtiger.com/terms

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Athelp Info Solutions Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", "RankingTiger"). They cover the RankingTiger app for iPhone and Android, and the website and web app at RankingTiger.com (together, the "Service").

By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund and Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Please read section 7 (AI features and AI output) and section 6 (your content) carefully.

2. Who can use RankingTiger

  • You must be at least 18 years old. The Service is not for anyone under 18, and we do not offer a parental-consent process. If you are under 18, do not create an account. When you sign up, the app asks you to confirm that you are 18 or older. We do not knowingly process the personal data of anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to a person under 18, we delete that account.
  • You must be able to form a binding contract where you live.
  • If you use the Service for a business or on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.
  • We may refuse, suspend or close an account that does not meet these requirements.

3. Your account

  • Ways to sign in: email and password, an email link, Google, Sign in with Apple, or your phone number with a one-time code sent by WhatsApp.
  • Verification: you may use the Service without verifying a phone number. To use the free credits and to earn referral credits, we may ask you to confirm a WhatsApp number (section 4.2).
  • Accurate information: keep your information up to date.
  • Security: keep your password, sign-in details and devices safe. You are responsible for all activity under your account, except activity we cause. You can turn on two-step sign-in with an authenticator app in the Me tab.
  • One person, one account: do not share your account, or create several accounts to get around limits or to collect free or referral credits more than once.
  • Tell us at once if you think your account has been used without your permission.

4. Plans, credits, prices and payments

4.1 Plans

RankingTiger offers these plans:

PlanPriceWhat you get
FreeFreeThe Teleprompter (Record) and the basic video editor, with no limit. A one-time gift of 50 credits for the AI features. Free exports carry a RankingTiger watermark.
StarterAs shown on the Plans screen, monthly or annualA monthly pool of 300 credits. No watermark on exports.
ProAs shown on the Plans screen, monthly or annualA monthly pool of 1000 credits. No watermark on exports.
MaxAs shown on the Plans screen, monthly or annualA monthly pool of 2400 credits. No watermark on exports.

[CONFIRM: these credit numbers match the database (supabase/migrations 0008 and 0021) on the date of this draft. Check them against the app on the day you publish.]

Other limits: the in-app recording limit is 5 minutes per video, and imported videos may be up to 5 minutes long. We may change plan features and limits. If we reduce what you get on a paid plan during a billing period, we will tell you in advance, and you may cancel as described in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

4.2 Credits

  • What credits are. Credits are a count that lets you use the AI features (topic ideas, scripts, revisions, translations, hook rewrites, post captions, AI pictures, auto captions and auto edit). Each use costs a number of credits. The cost of each feature is shown in the app, before you use it, and may change. Some features may cost nothing. The Teleprompter, the basic editor and manual exports use no credits.
  • Free plan. The 50 free credits are given once for the life of your account. They never reset. To use them, you may need to confirm a WhatsApp number.
  • Paid plans. The monthly pool resets at the start of each calendar month (UTC), not on your billing date. Unused credits do not roll over. If you change plan, the pool becomes the new plan's pool, and the credits you have already used this month still count.
  • Bonus credits. Credits earned through Refer and earn (section 5) are kept apart, do not expire while your account is open, and are used after your plan credits are used up.
  • Credit packs. Anyone, on any plan including Free, can buy a one-time credit pack in the iPhone or Android app (100, 300 or 1000 credits). Pack credits are bonus credits: they are kept apart from your plan credits, do not expire while your account is open, and are used after your plan credits are used up. A pack is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and does not renew. If Apple or Google refunds a pack, we take back the credits from that pack that you have not yet used; credits you already used are not taken back. [CONFIRM: have a lawyer review the credit pack wording.]
  • Failed AI work is given back. If an AI use fails (for example an AI error, a refusal, a timeout, an unfinished job, or a result that fails our checks after one repair), we give its credits back automatically, once, to the pool they came from. You do not need to ask. This is credits only, not money.
  • No cash value. Credits have no cash value, cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for money, and are lost when your account is deleted or closed. Credits that were used for work that was delivered to you are not refunded.

4.3 Annual plans

Annual plans cost less per month than monthly plans. The saving is shown on the Plans screen, and it is worked out from the monthly price.

4.4 Where you buy

  • On the iPhone or Android app: purchases are made through Apple's App Store or Google Play, and are subject to their terms and payment processes. RevenueCat manages subscription status for us. Prices in the app are the prices the store charges in your region. Apple and Google, not us, take the payment and send us the result.
  • On the website: where web checkout is offered, purchases are made through Razorpay. Website prices are shown in your local currency where Razorpay supports it, and in US dollars elsewhere. [CONFIRM: web checkout is not built in the app code at the date of this draft. Delete this bullet and the Razorpay mentions in the Terms, Privacy Policy and Refund policy if you will not offer web payments.]

Apple and Google handle billing, refunds and cancellations for their purchases, as described in section 14 and in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

4.5 Auto-renewal and cancelling

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual), at the then-current price, until you cancel. We do not offer a free trial at present.

Cancelling: you can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. You cancel in the App Store or Google Play (or with Razorpay for a web plan). Deleting your account, or deleting the app, does not cancel a subscription. How to cancel, and what is refundable, is in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

4.6 Refunds

Refunds for App Store and Google Play purchases are decided by Apple or Google under their rules. Our rules for other purchases are in the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits a refund that the law gives you.

4.7 Taxes

Prices may not include taxes. Where applicable, taxes such as GST are added by the store or at checkout. [CONFIRM: GST registration, and whether app store prices already include local taxes.]

4.8 Price changes

We may change prices. For subscriptions, we will give you at least [CONFIRM: 30] days' notice before a price change applies to you, so that you can cancel before it takes effect. Apple and Google may also apply price changes under their own rules.

4.9 Failed payments

If a payment fails, the store or payment provider may retry it, and we may suspend paid features until it succeeds. We will not charge you twice for the same period.

5. Refer and earn

  • You can share your referral code. A friend who is new can enter one code within 7 days of creating their account.
  • Rewards are bonus credits only. They are paid when the rules in the app are met, for example when the friend signs in with email, Google or Apple, confirms a WhatsApp number and makes a first video, and when the friend first buys a paid plan. The amounts and the maximum number of rewarded referrals are shown in the Refer and earn screen and may change.
  • One friend bonus is allowed for each person, phone number and device. Referring yourself, referring each other, or using extra accounts does not count.
  • We may refuse or take back bonus credits and close accounts where we find abuse or a breach of these rules.
  • Referral rewards have no cash value. See section 4.2.

6. Your content

6.1 What counts as your content

"Your Content" means the topics, facts, instructions, scripts, text, audio, video and images you enter, upload, record or create in the Service. "AI Output" means text, pictures and other material the AI creates for you based on Your Content.

6.2 You own Your Content

You keep the rights you have in Your Content. We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

6.3 Licence you give us

You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, transmit, transcribe, translate and display Your Content, but only as needed to provide the Service to you. This includes sending Your Content to AI providers and other providers described in the Privacy Policy so that they can process it for you, under their own terms. This licence ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except for copies in backups, which are removed as the Privacy Policy describes, and copies we must keep by law.

We do not train AI models on Your Content. Whether the AI providers we use may train on it under their own terms is described in section 5.3 of the Privacy Policy. Please read it.

6.4 You must have the rights

You may upload, record, or use only content that you have the right to use. In particular:

  • Other people: if your video or audio includes another person, you must have their permission, or another lawful reason, to use their image and voice. You must not create or publish content that shows someone without their consent.
  • Music, footage and other works: you must have a licence or permission for any music, clips, images, fonts or other third-party material you add.
  • Trademarks and names: you must not use another person's or business's trademark, logo, or name in a way that is likely to mislead people about who makes or endorses your content.

You are responsible for Your Content and for any video you publish. We do not check it before you publish it. Your scripts, recordings and edit projects are stored on your device, so you are also responsible for backing them up. We cannot recover them if you lose the device or delete the app.

6.5 AI Output and ownership

As between you and us, you may use AI Output for your own videos and posts, to the extent the law and the AI providers' terms allow. We do not promise that AI Output is unique, that it is free of other people's rights, or that you can own or register it. Similar output may be given to other users.

7. AI features and AI output

7.1 AI Output may be wrong

The AI may produce output that is wrong, out of date, biased, incomplete, offensive, or that infringes someone else's rights. Numbers, names, brands and facts in AI Output may be invented or mistaken. You must check AI Output before you use it.

7.2 Not professional advice, and health content

AI Output is not professional advice. It is not medical, health, nutrition, fitness, legal, financial, tax, safety or investment advice, and it is not a diagnosis or a treatment plan. A large part of RankingTiger's use is for health and wellness videos, so please note:

  • Do not rely on AI Output for decisions about health, medicines, supplements, diets, or treatment, for yourself or for your viewers.
  • Health scripts may include a line telling viewers to speak to a doctor. That line does not make a script safe or correct. Check every health claim against reliable sources, or with a qualified professional, before you publish.
  • Do not present AI Output as the advice of a doctor or other professional, and do not claim that a product cures or treats a condition unless that is true and lawful where you publish.
  • You are responsible for following the advertising, health-claim and platform rules that apply to your videos.

If you think you have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number. Do not use the Service.

7.3 No guarantee of results

We do not guarantee any ranking, view count, reach, engagement, sales, or any other result from using AI Output or the Service. Social media platforms change their rules and algorithms without notice.

7.4 Your responsibility

You are responsible for AI Output that you publish, share or use. You agree not to use AI Output to deceive people, to impersonate others, or to present unverified claims as facts.

7.5 Automatic edits and transcription

Automatic edits, transcripts, captions and translations are generated by software and may contain errors or cut words you wanted. Check them before you publish. Removed parts are listed in the editor and can be put back.

7.6 We do not train AI models, but our AI providers might

RankingTiger does not train, fine-tune or otherwise improve any AI model with Your Content. To produce AI Output, we send your inputs to third-party AI providers through OpenRouter. Those providers may use the data they receive to train their own models, under their own terms and depending on the model and the provider. See section 5.3 of the Privacy Policy. If you do not want your content processed in this way, do not use the AI features.

8. Watermarks and exports

  • Free-plan exports include a RankingTiger watermark, placed at the position shown in the app.
  • Paid plans export without the watermark.
  • Do not try to remove the watermark from free exports.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • break any law, or help anyone else do so;
  • create, upload or share content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, pornographic, sexually explicit, violent, or that promotes terrorism or self-harm;
  • sexualise, or depict, anyone under 18;
  • create or share deepfakes or other synthetic media of a real person without their clear consent, or that impersonate a real person or organisation in a misleading way;
  • create or spread misinformation about health, elections, public safety, or other matters where harm is likely, including false or dangerous medical claims or fake cures;
  • infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights;
  • send spam, or use the Service to scrape, harvest or collect data about other users;
  • send automated requests that go beyond what the app allows, or try to get around credits, plan limits, referral rules, billing or security;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, prompts or models of the Service, except where the law allows it despite this restriction;
  • upload malware, or attack or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
  • resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission.

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where the law requires, we will tell you why.

10. Our intellectual property

We own the Service, including the app, the website, the brand and logo, the software, the templates and the design. These Terms do not give you any right to them, except a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service as allowed by these Terms.

Feedback you send us may be used by us without payment or obligation to you.

11. Third-party services and links

The Service relies on third-party services, including Apple, Google, Cloudflare, Supabase, RevenueCat, OpenRouter, AI model and transcription providers, MSG91 and WhatsApp, and Razorpay (if web checkout is offered). Their terms apply to your use of them. We are not responsible for their services, except as the law requires.

The Service may link to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content.

12. Changes to the Service

We may add, change or remove features at any time. We will try to tell you about significant changes in advance. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, security, or reasons outside our control.

13. Ending your account

13.1 You can delete your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app: open the Me tab, then Delete account. Deleting your account removes your account and the data tied to it as described in section 12.1 of the Privacy Policy, and you lose any unused credits. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription, and you must cancel that subscription in the store. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

13.2 We can suspend or end your account

We may suspend or end your account if you break these Terms, if we must do so by law, or if your account is inactive for a long period. [CONFIRM: inactivity period, or delete the inactivity reason.] Where we can, we will give you notice and a chance to explain, except where there is an urgent risk of harm or a legal reason not to.

13.3 What happens when an account ends

Your right to use the Service ends. Sections 4.2, 6.4, 7, 10, 13.3, 14 to 18 and 20 survive. Paid subscriptions are not refunded except as set out in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

14. Terms for Apple and Google app users

If you download the RankingTiger app from the Apple App Store, these additional terms apply:

  • These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. [CONFIRM: Apple's standard licence terms are used, or this custom licence includes the required Apple terms.]
  • We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and for any warranty that is not met. If the app fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which will refund the purchase price (if any) to you. Apple has no other warranty obligation, to the extent allowed by law.
  • We, not Apple, handle claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app does not meet a legal requirement, claims under consumer protection laws, claims relating to privacy, and claims that the app infringes someone's intellectual property. If a third party claims that the app infringes its intellectual property, we, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defence and settlement of that claim.
  • You confirm that you are not located in a country that is under a United States government embargo or listed as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance, Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
  • You must comply with any third-party terms that apply to your use of the app, such as Apple's terms.
  • Questions, complaints or claims about the app can be sent to us at the contact details in section 21.
  • Refund requests. If you ask Apple or Google for a refund of an App Store or Google Play purchase, we may share app usage information about that purchase with them, through RevenueCat, so that they can decide your request. We do this only if you have agreed to it: the agreement is the box on the Plans screen, which you must tick before a plan can be bought, and it is saved on your account. If you have not agreed, we do not share this information. You can change your choice on the Plans screen at any time. A change applies to refund requests made after it is saved. Apple or Google decides the refund, and the Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how.

If you download the app from Google Play, Google's Play terms also apply to your use of the app.

15. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that AI Output will be accurate or suitable for your purpose.

Nothing in these Terms removes any right you have under a law that cannot be excluded by contract, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India) and consumer protection laws where you live.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

  • we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or reputation, arising from the Service;
  • we are not liable for loss or harm that comes from your use of AI Output without checking it, including health, money or legal decisions based on it;
  • our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or [CONFIRM: a fixed amount, for example INR 5,000], whichever is greater.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for wilful misconduct. [CONFIRM: wording for Indian law.]

17. Indemnity

You agree to defend and compensate us against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable lawyers' fees) that arise from:

  • Your Content, including any claim that it infringes a third party's rights;
  • your use of AI Output in a way that breaches these Terms or the law;
  • your breach of these Terms.

This does not apply to the extent the law does not allow it for consumers.

18. Governing law and disputes

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • The courts at [CONFIRM: city] have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any right you have to bring a complaint before a consumer commission or another body that the law gives you.
  • Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us at support@athelp.in so that we can try to resolve the problem.
  • [OPTIONAL: arbitration clause. Lawyer to decide whether to add one.]
  • If you use the Service from the European Union, the United Kingdom or elsewhere, you keep any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.

19. Grievances and contact for complaints

If you have a complaint about the Service, these Terms, a charge, or content, contact:

  • Grievance Officer: [CONFIRM: full name]
  • Email: [CONFIRM: email address. It can be support@athelp.in.]
  • Postal address: [CONFIRM: postal address. It can be the business address in section 21.]

We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to resolve it within [CONFIRM: 30] days. Complaints about personal data are handled as described in section 14 of the Privacy Policy.

[CONFIRM: whether a named Grievance Officer is legally required for you (for example under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, or the IT Rules, 2021) is for a lawyer to decide. Having one is safe and costs nothing.]

20. Other terms

  • Changes to these Terms: we may update these Terms. For material changes, we will give you notice in the app or by email at least [CONFIRM: 15] days before they apply, and where the law requires, we will ask for your acceptance again. If you keep using the Service after the changes take effect, you accept them.
  • Entire agreement: these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund and Cancellation Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
  • Severability: if any part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest remains in effect.
  • No waiver: if we do not enforce a right, we have not given it up.
  • Assignment: we may transfer these Terms to a company that takes over the Service. You may not transfer your account or these Terms without our written permission.
  • Notices: we may send notices by email, in the app, or by posting them on RankingTiger.com.
  • Language: these Terms are written in English. The app is shown in many languages, but only the English Terms are the legal text. [CONFIRM: whether a Hindi version will be provided. If so, state which version prevails.]
